Hello bing. When I start to work on campus after the summer vacation, I start to cook some simple meals for myself instead of going to eat in the school canteen. I steam a bowl of rice that is enough for me and cook one dish, like string gourd, string bean, tofu, shrimp with green pepper, tomato with eggs, egg-plant with green pepper and garlic. I only cook one dish for each meal so that I can always finish it and eat something fresh for the next meal. Take care.

Thank you so much for the BR. I got back to my school apartment late after 12 today. So I made another simple meal. I boiled the noodles and then took it out and placed some soybean sauce, some ginger powder, chicken powder, sesame oil and then I stirred it. It tastes good to me. Simple, huh? Have a good day, friend.

Hi Bing, I only cook at home because of my husband. If I'm alone in the house, anything will do for a meal - bread, instant noodles, fried/hard boiled eggs or even an ice-cream or cup of chocolate.

In summer, I do not feel like to cook much. I eat a lot of dumplings, which contains meat and vegetables, to give the necessary protein and other nutritions. I can buy from market, so prepare them myself. Usually I would make for several meals by freezing in the refrig.

pinakbet (a filipino staple dish with squash and stringbeans),boneless bangus(milkfish) belly, rice, and a glass of milk is a complete meal for me.it might not be a great combination, but I love it because I can indulge without the guilt.I am trying to quit chicken and prok now,so I switched to fish.I would like to eat without the guilt.

That's a perfect meal coco but I like more when the squash and stringbeans done in coconut cream (gata) though I eat pinakbet as well. Wow, boneless bangus makes a great combination, hehe I don't go for milk, preferred coffee instead. This is perfect now that rainy days come. Thanks for the response coco, have a nice day.

Aged kimchi, flour, and water. I love kimchi pancakes and I can remember getting excited everytime my mom made them for me as a kid. I still make them now and will purposely let some kimchi age just to be able to make some. Though sometimes I can't wait for it to get old before I make a batch. :) Other than that some seaweed soup with a bowl of rice on the side or added into the soup is another favorite. If I had to I could eat a grilled cheese sandwich with some carrot sticks and chips and call it dinner.
