What provider do you like best?

My first cell phone was through Verizon and it was great for the first few years but seemed to go downhill. That is when Nextel was the big thing and so we switched providers and went with Nextel. It was awesome using the little push to talk feature for a while but the fun seemed to disappear after a while. We then switched back to Verizon when Sprint took over Nextel because it seemed as though their service immediately went downhill and we could no longer get service in areas that we never had a problem with before. Verizon has been great ever since. We truly don't have to worry about whether the signal will get dropped. We can go almost everywhere with it. What provider do you like best and why?

I do not have my own cell or mobile phone. I carry a commpany cell phone and the provider is what the company choces. In this case it is Verizon. it does quite well. pror to the the company used Nextel. the best thing for me is I do not have to worry about a cell phone bill. but it is a company phone. so i have to be carful how to use it. I can may some persoal calls, but I keep it limited.

Man, I wish I had a job that provided cell phones haha. I like having my personal phone with me though. I freak out when I forget to bring it with me or when I think I have lost it!

I signed up with Net 10 a couple years ago and it's great. Never had a dropped call, always have reception. I don't use the phone much so the plan is perfect for me. $15 for 150 minutes a month that I don't use--but my sons can reach me whenever they need to and I have it for emergencies. I have nearly 3,000 saved up, they roll over each month. It's a simple phone, no bells and whistles, just what I need at a price I'm willing to pay.

That sounds like a great plan. Our families live so far away that having a pre-paid phone wouldn't work for us, but I know many people who use them and love them. I have heard that Net 10 is one of the best plans for pre-paids. In fact, I think that is what my son uses as well. Thanks for the info. I didn't know that the reception was so good with them.

I had similiar experience with Nextel. I had Nextel for few years for my work & when they finally merged with Sprint, service seemed to have suffered. I went back to T-Mobile & I have blackberry through them. I like their service & I don't really too much problem with their service. I mean, it's a cell phone. Every so often, it's bound to drop a call here & there but over-all, it works everywhere I need it to work & I do travel.

Yes, Nextel really did go down hill after Sprint bought them. My daughter had switched from Sprint to Nextel and within that year the sale took place. She was really upset because that is why she left Sprint, because of bad service. She too has gone back to using Verizon. I like the fact that I can talk to everyone that has the Verizon service without getting charged for the minutes. My mom and brother also have the service as well. Those are the people that I talk to most, so I hardly ever have to use actual minutes.

Hey, Verizon is quite good, and so is Nextel. But Verizon I have heard has really great coverage and everything. You can like go almost anywhere and you won't lose coverage, which in my opinion is really great. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

My first provider we t-moble, and last year I changed to Verizon because I don't get any dropped calls at all, and I got them all the time with t-mobile. Verison has better looking phones anyway I think. I use my phone everyday, as I need it for my kids and my ex calls me everyday to keep in touch, and I like the fact I can be anywhere and I don't lose the calls. I have had Verizon for a little over a year and I plan on staying with them as I like the coverage area. Hurray for Verizon. Take care and happy mylotting.
