Today, I became one step closer in my journey to become a teacher. I was legally cleared to student teach. This means I have a good criminal background and I can be in a public school. Now, I am almost all cleared to student teach. I just have to go get a shot and xrays in August and I will be completely cleared to student teach in September. I am very happy.

Congratulations, being a techer is a wonderful occupation. Its always a nice feeling when you help people to learn and i know in return you learn also from your students. When i was young i also like to be a teacher but its not happen because i engage in the profession. Being a teacher is really consider hero for me, hope you will interact with your students well and goodluck to you.

What subject and grade level will you be teaching? I think that the public school system needs more good teachers. My husband is studying to be a high school English teacher. We think it'll be about a year before he's licensed to teach. BTW, what are the shot and the X-rays for?

I'll be teaching p-3. So, really all subjects. However, my specality is English because my other major is English. That's wonderful your husband will be teaching high school. My shots and x-rays are a tb screening. I don't know why. I've had so many tb shots it's clear I don't have it.

I always like most kids. Kids always seem to take to me and like me, even the ones who can be difficult. I always wanted to be a mom. Right now, I'm single and can't afford to have kids of my own. I always liked school. I loved learning and feel it's our job in life to share our knowledge with ours. I also wanted to make a difference and feel children are more receptive to help, and change, than adults. So, teaching seemed like the perfect fit for me.
