I had a very successful job up till about 3 years ago. It was very well paid and I worked there for over 8 years. 3 years ago the business started to go down until there was no way to save it and I lost my position.
After that I worked at a selling jon for a year, that job made no money at all. I invested over $4,000 and never got it back.
For a year now I have done odds and ends online. 4 months straight in the beginning I earned nothing, then slowly I began to earn a little bit. My best months I might have earned $150.-$250.
What about you, do you have a real job as well as working online. Or is online work all you do?

I have real job, I work in a supermarket and have been there about 3 years now. I dont earn much online as I havent got the patience for it. I dont use mylot often but am trying to use it atleast once a week. I love working as I get to meet people, chat to them and it is time away from the house. I dont think I could cope being inside the house everyday.

I have a real job but I would like to be able to find an online job that can support my family so that I can quit from my real job. I would rather have extra time in my hands so that I can spend more time with my kids. how do you manage to earn $250 for a month? is that from different sites? I want to make sure that I have an established job online before i resign.

Yes I do have a job, and I am a regular employee. I still can't save money even now, because I have loans and I am still paying for it that is why I never absent for my regular job, I have to be hardworking for the family.

Sorry to hear about that. I have a regular job, a nice job at that and the pay is good but I have lots of works to do. I came to know mylot when some of my office mates were discussing about it. I logged into it and I became a member. I earned a few cents and thats it. I am trying to log in to some paying sites, but most are perhaps not true, and in mylot it is not the earning that counts more, the discussion like this is one and this is a sort of stress buster for me.

I clean a few houses as a real job. Then I work online the rest of the time. I do chacha so I get paid from that and I post on this site too. That is the only 2 things I do online where I get paid. Oh I also do surveys that pay me too but I don't do them everyday.

Hello, I'v had a job for over 4 years where I did everything from cashing out customers, doing orders, paperwork, etc, which was suppose to be the managers job. I asked for a raise and was refused. I covered other employees when needed with no hesitation, finally, when the big boss came and praised the place for being well organized, etc, and the other girl that was there for 7 years (and does nothing but talk to her family when they visit which is all the time, or talks on the phone)got the raise and promotion for a job well done, I quit. I started my own business, which is still slow after a year mind you, but like all jobs, it has good days and bad. I am looking for another job as well for lately it is hard to have ends meet. I do alot of surveys online as well, and do get paid for them, but it takes up to 3 months just to get the check.
An online job is good, but be sure it covers your bills or have a backup.

I was working in the top auditing firm as an auditor here in our country 2 years ago. Many people probably were willing to trade places with me back I can't go on anymore. Then I was exhausted with the job and I felt that I am not enjoying the work anymore. Most of my co-workers are not working abroad and some are encouraging me to work as an auditor again but I think I can't do that anymore. Some might question me why did a very I quit my job but not money can even encourage me to work in that kind of environment anymore. I guess I was not fit for that.
As of now I am managing our family business plus I do have my own small businesses that I am taking care of. I am also a successful (if I might say) online earner. And since my businesses are only small, I am basically getting my money from my online jobs.
You can visit my blog in my profile to see some of my posts with regards to online jobs.

I have a real job and this online work makes me some few dollars. But i know one person who work online and earn like 2000$ to 9000$ if he work hard. I can tell you how he do it cause i might hurt him because of competitions. Best of luck and hope i make some living on this online career.

I always had a "real" job until this past April. Thanks to the wonderful economy I lost my job. I have been trying to find another "real" job as we need the insurance. My husband is in construction and they don't offer health insurance for him. Getting insurance for a family of 5 in our own would be cost prohibitive. Lately I have been doing some stuff online, however I haven't been able to make much other than to pay the very cheap water bill. I am hoping things turn around for us quickly.

I started doing some work online just for a little bit of extra money to use completely towards paying down debt! I work EMS full-time, which means I am on duty for 24 hours at a time. It gives me plenty of downtime and lucky me...each station has wireless internet!
I make around $100-150 a month, so it's not a large amount. However, it will pay off a couple little credit cards I have by the end of the year!

I'm a lot on shift work and I don't work online. Whatever I do for fun and I receive any form of incentive, I consider it extra money for me to save or buying something.
I thought of saving up some online earnings so one day I could purchase a domain or some sort. I don't want to be using my own pocket money so this could be a good form of investment for me.
Personal satisfaction, I'm enriched with it. I'm so happy to be able to interact in mylot, as well as writing for my blog and Triond. Anything extra is definitely appreciated..
