I read bible but not everyday.. But even if I'm not reading bible everyday, bible helps me a lot in many ways. It teaches me lessons in life. It teaches you to sacrifice, to love your enemies, worship our God, trust God with all of your heart, and with all of your soul and with all of your mind. It is still the best book that I have read

I try to read my Bible every morning. It is a good way to start the day, to learn more about God and his love for us.

I didn't used to until my daughter brought a booklet home from school called "Our Daily Bread". Then I went to the website. Now I try and get to the website every day and read the scripture it says to read, then the little story they write to go with it. At the bottom there are two more scriptures to read as a way to read the Bible in a year. I only read one though because the other usually entails about 3 chapters of a book and I don't want to take that much time... besides the Old Testament is filled with a bunch of names. The website, in case anyone is interested, is http://www.rbc.org/odb/odb.shtml.

it does have some good stories, that suggest how we should behave e.g. treat others like you would like to be treated and all that, but i think people rely too much on it and take every word seriously instead of making their own choices. I think people need to be reminded that it was meant to have been written many years ago and just because a story has been put in there dosen't mean its true.

I try my hardest to read it everyday! You're very true, it does help alot in life. It shows hope for the future, and for the present! The bible is most real book I've read in my life! Of course, I still have alot to read/meditate on, but the word is truly alive! Its the only thing that will remain in this world, is the words that are written inside that book :D.

The bible may offer hope and teaches lessons, but it still remains a book full of subjective stories. It was written by humans for humans in the way they wanted to be and according to their beliefs. It teaches to sacrifice for God, so ,as a good student, you would. Would you do it for your neighbor? He is just next to you and you see him everyday. Nevertheless, i believe, it's just a book. Nothing more, nothing less. Shall you read archives older than the bible referring to a superior existence you will find the same or similar stories, describing the human effort to understand the unknown and what they cannot control.
