How to remove oil stains on clothes?

Iam a good eater and never cared for the oil stains on my clothes but recently i spoiled my favorite blue colour shirt that had bad oil stain it and how to remove it as i dont know any of them and i never tried it.

There are several things that work. Rubbing salt on it sometimes helps. Also rubbing a dry bar of hand soap on the oil spot before throwing it in the washer helps to get it out.
