When I filled out my profile stuff there were hundreds of pages of so many things it made my head ache! There was no way I could sit and go threw every page they had for all the subjects. So I just did about 5 to 10 pages for every topic and picked the ones that I liked the best. And that is where PINK comes in. I have always liked this females style and the lyrics to her songs. I was taught in high school to view the lyrics to music as poetry. And if you read it that way without the music you actually get a different impression of the song. At least I do. At least that is true for a great portion of the music that is written. If you have never looked at the lyrics you can go to www.lyrics.com and find the lyrics to thousands of songs to thousands of artists. Her latest song 'So What' about her breakup with Skateboard King Tony Hawk is a very funny song to me. And the cute thing was when they had the crew on 'American Idol' sing some selected lyrics. Not all of them were used. Since she only started making music in 2000 and only has 5 records under her belt she is doing pretty good for herself since she is only going to be turning 30 this September 12. Really great music in my book.

It's true what you say about lyrics. Some lyrics really do make sense and is very meaningful. That's why when someone say this song inspired me or made me get better. They are actually talking about the lyrics itself.I like pink too i think she's s great artist from her new album i like the song'Please don't leave me' and the video just top it up.cheers and great discussion.

I Love Pink and have been a fan of both Pink and Alecia Moore since the first time i heard "There You Go" on the radio. I have had the pleasure *wink* of seeing Pink in concert 4 times and i would rate her among the top performers in the industry. Not many people can sing, from the stomach with no help while hanging upside-down suspended in air spinning on ribbons at speeds up to 25 miles an hour for 4+ songs a night depending on the venue. She is amazing. BTW just one small correction...Pink was not married to nor was she ever dating Skateboard King Tony Hawk. She WAS however married to Motorcross king Carey Hart. He is the one in the "Just like a pill" video. He has a mohawk and she is singing to his pelvis. They remain very close and he was even a good enoiugh sport to agree to be in her video for "So What" without ever having heard the song, but knowing the premise of what it was about. So in the video when you see his reaction to what she is saying it is a real reaction because he has never heard the lyrics before. It shows how close they are because all he can do is laugh and hug her. Adorable.
