Well, a lot of people still love to eat ice cream. Perhaps the reason why most of the visitors did not eat ice cream is that they are controlling their sugar intake. As you have said, it's your father's birthday. I am not sure but I think most of your father's visitors are adults already and usually they are always aware about the sugar content of ice cream. If such was a children's party, I am sure that the ice cream will be the first one to be consumed.

Of course, I love ice cream no matter winter, summer, throughout the whole year, I can enjoy ice cream. I love all different kinds. I think every time I stop by mcdonalds with my sister, we will always order some ice cream for dessert. So yea, I think people still do like icecream.

I LOVE ice cream! I just recently bought a gallon of a brand I had never heard of before. It was vanilla with chocolate swirl, one of my favorites, and it was on sale so I thought, why not? It's the best tasting ice cream I've ever had, well, except for when I made homemade ice cream. My husband and I devoured that ice cream and I have since bought another gallon. I know it's fattening, but I go work in my garden every day that I'm able and what I don't work off, I sweat off. LOL If I were there, I'd help you eat that ice cream!

i used to eat a lot before. but now i just order or buy small cup from time to time on food chains like mc donalds. it is only that we have bought a gallon. i should have bought half a gallon only. i thought the visitors would eat that was why i bought a gallon if i knew they would not eat those ice cream.

I understand. I've often bought, or made, some kind of dessert that never even got touched! Like for Christmas dinner, I usually make two kinds of desserts, a pie and a cake, or two different kinds of pies. Because Christmas dinner is so large all by itself, most people are too full to even think about eating dessert, so I'm stuck with all of it, unless I give some to people to take home with them. But, you can't do that with ice cream! It would be a melted mess by the time they got it home. LOL All I can say to you is, enjoy all that ice cream! Maybe, eating a little each day, it will disappear before you realize it.

yeah i can't give ice cream for visitors to take home. LOL. i should i have served it at the same time when i served their meal so they could have eaten some of it. we planned to give after meal but since after the meal they had some talks and bonding time that they were not any more interested to eat ice cream though i offered them. they seemed to be full already from what they had been served on the table.

I'm not an ice cream person. I think the ice cream thing depends on a lot of things. I still find a lot of children enjoy ice cream. Here in my area and amongst my circle of friends and in my family, I am the only person who does not eat ice cream. In general, I don't like cold desserts.

How I wish I was there to help you eat all the ice cream. It's one of my favorites, especially if it's chocolate flavor. Well you said it's your father's birthday, so perhaps your visitors are the same age of your father, so that's why only few ate ice cream, because most of the people who is getting older is already health conscious and sweet foods is already not their thing anymore. Just give me a call if you have a hard time consuming all the gallon of ice cream. Hehe! Happy myLotting and Happy Birthday to your Dad!

i would definitely love to have you to be one of the visitors ha ha to eat these ice cream. and you guessed it right .LOL. my guests were same age of my father. that was why she was not keen on eating the ice cream. maybe she was watching her calorie intake. i am done with ice cream. i don't want to eat them any more tomorrow. if no one will eat these i will just wash it down the sink. LOL. haha. cause i am in the diet too.

Oh yeah, my husband does!! I can't keep ice cream in the house with him around!! lol He and I both need to lose some weight but not a chance with him, at least not right now anyways. He enjoys food too much! lol My reason is mainly medicine that I have to take but still want to at least try in the near future.

I love ice cream, best enjoy during hot days or stress. I think ice cream still rank well in everyone heart. You're never too old or too one to eat one. I don't like to keep one in the fridge though, my refrigerator isn't cool enough and it will melt. I prefer to buy one whenever I feel the need for an ice cream.

Hi, More than ice cream it's chocolates for me but it does not mean that i don't like ice creams. Ice creams are also most welcome. I like it more during summer times. Having cold ice cream in the hot weather really refreshes our mind. So it's the best thing during summers. Well Happy Mylotting.

You know what, its my Mom's Birthday!!! Lol, a co incidence!! Well, my Mom is fond of Ice-creams but not me. I prefer milk shakes or fruit juices or shooters over ice-creams. We are going to celebrate with ice-creams, lots of snacks, shakes and all. It'll be fun, enjoy!!
