The CAPTCHA CODE _ is it Annoying?

CAPTCHA- Completely Automated Public Turing Test to Tell Computers and Humans Apart
Most of you know what it is! it is the code that we see in most log in forms, to make sure that input is given by a man and not computers.
I find it quiet annoying, it is found in almost all the sites when you sign up and sign in. it really annoys me because the code is not clear, i have to spend a lot of time figuring out whether it is 5 or S. or 6 or 5, 7 or 1. it confuses me a lot. some sites have a recorded version of it, which spells out the letters. Even that s not clear and the volume is too low. Agreed, that it helps to identify a man and a robot. but do you think it is a waste of time, strain to your eyes? Do you think the letters or numbers has to be readable? thanks for your responses!

Well sometimes I find it irritating....especially the one that has got those that are hard to tell if its a number or something..There are some sites that says oh we wanna know if u are not a cheat bot we r verifying if u r human....oh please a computerised robot can read and write number ....its like a make belief..who knows maybe hackers...!!!!

they are really annoying. probably that is why they are making it too difficult for us to make out the letters.
