Pro or con plastic surgery?

one of my friend who is about 18 years old, her parents gave her decent amount of money as a gift for her to do plastic surgery. but she is not a bit ugly, more like about average or average. I am against plastic surgery myself especially on cases like my friend, i though how her parents gave money is a little wrong. but the more i think about it, there is nothing wrong about supporting their daughter. I think plastic surgery is acceptable for people's face who are terribly wounded by fire or etc, that after plastic surgery will able to help their life. As for purely out of achieve extra beauty is not needed. what do you think? do you think it make people fake?

I don't think it was a wise decision on your friend's parent's part to give her the money and support her with this decision.
I think they should have made her understand that she should be happy with who she is and what she has.
Just as you said, I am in favour of cosmetic or plastic surgery only in cases of severe accidents and trauma. Another time it would be ok to turn towards plastic surgery is when children are born with problems that are so severe that plastic surgery is needed for them to survive and lead a normal life.
Everyone has flaws. I think we should just learn to accept our flaws and be happy with what we have and who we are.

I only support corrective surgery as in accidents and irreversible damages to our bodies. There is no end to perfection. But I would rather me happy with what I have. Why not appreciate the beautiful eyes instead of frowning about the crooked nose! We must learn to appreciate whatever we are born with. Nothing more beautiful that virgin beauty. I am grateful for what I have and I am, beautiful with it.
