Well the exact word is "Cherup" which means footwear in Malayalam. This is a Malayalam riddle right ??

Isnt it a clothes dryer called a clothes horse here in England. It is made of wood, L shaped with rungs across it where you put the clothes over. I suppose when they dry out they drip the water on the floor.
