i brought new TV and got damaged by my brother .. what should I do.

i am 17 yrs old and i teach tuition to student below my grade. doing so i collected about (nepali currency)RS.1600(approx US DOllAR: $124).. with that i brought a new TV of 21' home. to my tragic on the second day my small brother splashed coke onto it and got damaged. it had warrenty of 4 years so i took it to the company. but they refuse to repair or take it bake. I m totally comfused what to do. my total saving of around 2 years is wasted. i m tensed now. what can be my solution. HELP

Do you have household contents insurance for where you live? Here in the UK most policies cover for accidental damage on things like TVs. Read the conditions of the warranty carefully - I suspect it only covers you for if the TV stops working and not for accidents of this nature but there may be some loophole that will allow you to make a claim. Exhort him to payment or sue the living daylights out of him.
Seriously, you should go to the shop and request for a new one, if they refuse, contact the manufacturer and tell them what happened, shouldn't that work then I would gather legal information on what you can do if I were you.
