Have you and your roommate/spouse/partner had a disagreement over groceries?

My roommate and I have never actually had a dispute over who buys the groceries but for a time I was very irritated because I was the only one doing the shopping. She always had other things to spend her money on while I was (and still am) actually in debt, yet I was the only one buying groceries. It never even crosses her mind to offer to pay for half. Eventually I got fed up with it and started to ask for money. Has anybody else been through this? Not necessarily groceries, but maybe some other expense that should be shared between roommates?
