The movie opens tomorrow. And after the massive hit of the 1st.movie- our local movie-goers are really going crazy to watch this 2nd.one.. Tickets are already sold out for this whole week, and uptil middle of next week..
We have one theater in the city where the tickets are sold FIVE TIMES the 'normal' theaters. 'They say' it is because of the 'extra special' set-ups like bigger screen, smaller viewing hall, extra large seats - like 1st.class airplane seats, great sound system.. and 'butler service'.. a real-pampered-treatment..
I am not crazy enough to spend (waste) that much money to buy those ticket.. dont care what special treatment they hand out to you - it's just a movie.. is it not??
but guess what - even tickets for that theater are are totally sold out until next week!
I really dont understand.. why would anybody want to spend so much to watch a movie?,
if they'd wait.. i am sure tickets are available for the coming weeks..
so.. question - how much would you pay for a movie ticket?.. is any movie really worth spending 5 times the normal price?.. (for comparison: the price of the ticket could buy me groceries for one week)
cheers!

I think that i wouldn't see it even if it was free, maybe if the theater paid me twice the price of the ticket i then i could see it with extreme sacrifices :D
For a movie that i want to see i think the fair price is 5€, and that is the price that i usually pay, is some theaters the price is 7€ but rarely more than that, 7€ is already much to just view a movie in my opinion anyway.
