Are there songs that you love cause they remind you of good memories, or bad ones even? I can honestly say just about every Eagles song is like that for me. What songs and groups are on your 'soundtrack'?

HOld on...I'm writing those down so I can search them on playlist or youtube and listen to them. :) I guess, for me, it would be celtic music...and the classic rock of the 60's & 70's. I love the blues too. I recognize some tunes from operas too...as my mother played them when I was a girl. Don't know which ones are which....lol. But I can hum them.

My kids say I have a song for everything. This morning Dearra said something about somebody saying "you ruined my life" and I broke out in a chorus of "you ruined my life" to the tune of "you light up my life". There are a lot of them, Beatles, 70's stuff, Huey Louis and the News from my first Hawaii trip, etc.

OK but you have to let me sing even if it's bad. :-)

Yup I remember weird Al. the other night after we heard about Michael Jackson, we played some of his songs on YouTube followed by the Weird Al version!

every song and every album that Papa Roach has put out. The albums always seemed to talk directly to me. saying all the words that I couldn't think of to discribe what I was going through. Funny how when broken home came out my dad had left the picture. I can always listen to their albums all the way through. one tough one to listen to though is "my daddy gave me a name" by everclear. Most of the time i just change it though...lol.

Hi kttribal, glad to meet you. I guess I'm to old to know the songs you've mentioned, but I do know the feeling you're describing...I've heard some music that brought me up out of depression, and I've heard some that sent me into a tailspin...music is something that has power to change our emotions quickly. I try to listen to positive music, but admittedly once in awhile I like a sad song...just for the heck of it! lol

Funny you should say that now....I listened to It's My Life on the way to work today....and sang real loud. Good thing I was alone in the car.

It's o.k. if you sing loud or alone in your car. All that should matter is you were singing and having a good time!

I believe my soundtrack would include classic Stevie Wonder and Rufus and Chaka Khan with a little Mariah Carey mixed in.

I like "firehouse" have you heard their songs? I love their song " I finally found the love of a lifetime " it best described to me before I got married. I would always love to listen it. In fact, It was our song when I was walking on the Aisle at St. Pius church on our wedding.

I really like 'love songs' but now a days I don't listen to them without getting all sentimental and mushy about being on my own. Then I wake up and have to laugh~ lol
