Now what fun would life be if you couldn't:
taste chocolate
smell a rose
see a sunset
hear a symphony
touch another person
No thank you, I'm not choosing. So there!

I wouldn't want to accidentally wish anything bad on myself. That's my story for now... :-)

Well...at least just imagining would be better than actually having it happen?
I put myself to sleep at night imagining weird scenarios. lol

yes, it's sure is nice to have all five...that's for sure! I'm leaning on taste...if I loose my sense of taste I might loose weight..still haven't made up my mind on this one. Someone give me a reason to keep each one. :)

well due to nose issues (i have a stuffy nose 99 % of the time) i have pretty much given up the sense of smell. i have learned to live without it but what i hate is, when you cant smell, a lot of the time, you cant taste either. i have eaten many a meal that i havent tasted.

How does that make you feel? I can suggest washing out the sinuses with saline solution...I have to once in awhile cause of sinus issues.

That's right! smell and taste ARE interwoven! I haven't made up my mind yet...waiting to see what others say. :)
