How Do You Keep Cool?

What are the ways you have discovered to keep cool in the dog days of summer?
Air Conditioning is my first place for relief. I also like eating a lot of cool treats like ice cream and freezies.

we dont have central air so it can get sort of hot at my house, but we do have a portable a/c and a lot of fans that seem to help. if it gets really hot, we will go to the library or walk around the mall to get cooled off or go to the beach or get some ice cream. for around the house, i drink a lot of lemonade!
