Today, I was browsing online and found some really
cool sites with wacky newspaper headlines.
Here are some of my faves.
'Statistics show that teen pregnancy drops off significantly after age 25' 
'Puerto Rican teen named Mistress of the Universe'
'One-armed man applauds the kindness of strangers'
Here's one that shows the stupidity of federal government.
'Federal agents raid gun shop and find weapons'
'Utah Poison Control Center reminds everyone not to take poison'
'Army vehicle disappears. An Austrillian army vehicle worth $74,000 has
gone missing after being painted with camoflauge'
'Attorney accidentally sues himself'
'County to pay $250,000 to advertise lack of funds'
'Volunteers search for old Civil War planes'

Hello beauty queen. I think that that the main purpose of having funny newspaper headlines is to draw readers' attention to go through it. Usually a good title that is attractive to the readers is sure to have more readers. I remember one of our professors who gave us a lecture talking about writing papers mentioned that it is one of the main factors whether a paper is a success or not. Based on this theory, I think that it makes some sense to have some funny headlines for readers' attention to it. Thank you for sharing this interesting discussion with those really funny headline. Hi beauty,
i ahve not come across anything like that as I haven't read the newspapers for years, I don't buy it, but think that is so funny, thanks for putting it up and giving us a laugh.

haha these are hilarious. Thanks a lot for the humour. I really needed that today. Sometimes I wonder how some of these people can be so stupid. Do they even think about what they're writing down. I wonder how many other dumb headlines are out there. Jay Leno has some good ones.
