Is love a powerful emotion?

yes indeed it is a powerful emotion. You can't stop it once you feel it even if you try your best to do everything in your power. It makes people kind of crazy, haha. Well it's better to love than hate so just take it with a grain of salt and learn to deal with it. =D

Love is a great feeling which has to be expressed. If you find it true, never fail to convey, thats a tribute to the love in real.

When I first read this discussion my response was "Well,duh!" Love has caused wars, feuds, and various crimes. How can anyone think love is not powerful. It may be the most powerful one. If it isn't it's the root of some important ones such as jealousy and envy.

people are always blinded by love. who knows why they fall also? my son cant see hes jumping right back into a worse then ever relationship. i was blinded by it many times 4 times i married for it and paid dearly with mistreatment. then, i married one more time, the 5th marriage. i really found out what true love was then. i think people often convince them selves they are in love out of lonliness and desperation. to bad they fool themselves.

Love, very powerful. When true love hits your heart, you can help but to fall in love, even that person is not the right one. We have to be mature in love so we can't easily fall in love with the wrong person.

If you are in to historical stories then read Shree Farhad. You would know how he cut whole mountain so that river can flow through the desert of middle east deserts and he did it single handedly as that was the price of Shree's hand that her father had put. But if you channel it wrongly then it can kill countless person and can destroy lot of earth.

I believe it is. It totally changes the way you see things. Your persona will radiate a different aura when you are in love. Love makes you smile the moment you wake up. It feels good doing things when you are in love. Therefore, it is powerful.

Love is gift from god , we can fill peace and happy with our partner , in this live we can't live alone .most of people said love is blind , there is true because they will do anything for love . but if you get older you can choose whats love you want because they will impact your your future live.

I think that Love is the most powerful and important emotion a Person can feel. Almost all the other emotions are based on love...jealousy,fear,happiness. Love can make you feel like the King of the World,and absolutly lousy, too. It can make you happier than you could think, it can make you crazy, and love can also make you sad and cry.
