Do you turn on your computer all the time?

only if i'm at home.. when i'm at the office i'll turn it off

Lately I have been turning my computer off at night when I'm done. I hear it a good idea! It saves energy for one thing! I usually turn it back on when I get up in the morning. I never have turned it off for more then like 10 hours.

I have a personal laptop, so I leave my computer on almost all the time! I leave it on "sleep", though. But I must warn you, leaving a computer on for too long can be really bad for its virtual memory. Don't expect a computer to be working like a gem after being on for 12 days in a row!

i think it is pretty much safer for keeping the desktops on but not with the laptops, i have a laptop and yeah sometimes i have kept my laptop overnight, oops i just forgot!.... :)

Haha, just like you, I always download some interesting movies from the internet. Now that the the download speed is too slow, so the only way is to keep the computer on for several days.

I had no idea that you shouldn't leave them on. I always leave my computer on at all times. I turn it off when there is a storm, but other than that its on or at least in sleep mode. Well. It looks like I'm going to have to start being more careful about that I guess?

Hi there Clorissa! I do not leave my computer on overnight. We only have internet connection here in our shop and every night, we turn all of the computers when we close the shop and go home. I have download manager so even when I'm not yet done with downloading, I can always start where I stopped the next day.
