Do you stand still and strike a pose when you're being recorded?

I wouldn't strike a pose in front of a video camera, lol, but most likely run away if the video camera was an unexpected surprise. Now though there are so many cameras that you can't tell whether one is video taping or just snapping a picture, especially when flash isn't needed. lol.

Hey mod, Yes definately i like to pose infront of camera. Whenever we friends go to some picnic or some outings then we always pose and do funny things. Its not fun doing it standing still. Atleast to me, and all my prankster friends . Cheers, Tutul

If I can't sneak out of the way before the film starts rolling, I probably tend more to over-react. Watching me open (another) candle at Christmas probably comes across as if I was given a car. If the video is supposed to look romantic...well, I can't talk about that here. They should be getting their camera back from having the melted computer chips replaced anytime now.... no , no, no and no lol i am camera conscious how much more a video lol I only have few photos here and dont never had tried posing for a video recording lol well I just wonder how that one would actually feel I am too camera shy have to admit that my friend. now stick a pose lol

nope.I don't stand still.I just wave at the camera and say hi.I don't understand why people will stand still while video recording.it is supposed to capture a happening movement,not a still photo.

Id probably strike a pose to just be goofy. But i more pose for a still picture not video :P

there are cameras now that can take videos as well unless the person taking a video says its video then i might also take a pose.... lol. but is i know its a video then no need to pose just do what you have to do but with additional cuteness to be captured on the video whahaha. sometimes me and my kids make faces during a video but not pose.

if it's video I'd rather be moving if it's camera then for sure standing still either way I'm a shy person so most likely I will avoid both of them

I don’t know about posing but I definitely feel very self conscious and I can’t act naturally, so I guess you could call it a kind of posing. I hate it and I hate watching myself once I’ve been recorded too; I’m like that with photos as well!

when i know that it is a video recording then i usually wave on cam and give my smile...and if its in an occasion...i usually sends my greeting... but i remember one time doing that...its actually a group shot...i thought its not a video record so i just stand still, strike a pose and say cheese! and when i saw it on video...hehehe looks like...

I stand still. I get nervous on camera. I sometimes run away from them. Besides, you always have to be care what you do and say on camera.

Honestly i dont because i know it is recorded and you were supposed to be moving and talking. I talked a lot when i am recorded, lol. i remember a funny story about video and camera. Me and my co workers attended our boss wedding. so we are in the table waiting for the signal to eat, i asked the guy to take a picture of us girls, so we posed and smile and we are not moving and it take so long for the flash to light. it takes 3 mins when i remember that it maybe in video not camera. So when i check the pic, it is video and we are so funny because we are so poise and all smile for three minutes. I hope i can upload it here so you would know how funny it is when you are not moving and yet you are recorded for video.

whoah! i really hate to be recorded and whenever i see someone recording us with me in it. i rather hide away. anyways, i hate posing because i am not that beautiful and wonderfully built that's why i rather hide and disappear from such embarrassment. lol! well i just dont like it though. lol! jhelai

If I will be recorded I will be moving and pose whatever I would like to do . To see the beauty in recording myself. Its good to have movements when recorded than you saty still . So fun after watching what you did in the video.
