Do you always comment on a response?

From what I understood, a started discussion does not earn anything, unless you respond to mylotters who had a comment to it (I hope I am making sense). Regarding your question about responding to each comment... In my case I don't usually respond when the answer is obviously repeated a gazillion times. Also, if the response is something I cannot relate to, I'd rather not respond than leaving a commnet I am not even sure of.

hello markmoney!!! Yes, I comment on all the responses I get in my discussions. You will find very few responses which don't have the comments for the discussions I have started. As far as possible I comment all the responses. If I don't have anything really great to tell, but still I always have to thanks for the giving the response in my discussion. This is the real great way to show the gratefulness. If in the discussions we started, we didn't read the response or comment the response, then the effort of the responder turn to be useless which is the hurt the effort of the responder. With this feeling I always tend to comment the each response I get. And about earning with the comments. You had really misunderstood. Commenting for the responses surely pays and I am definite. I haven't read the other responses in this but I think everyone have already said this thing. In fact, I think commenting the responses we get pays up even more than responding to other discussion. So, comment each and every response you get. Your earning will really increase. And it is always easier to comment the responses we get than responding in many discussions. Yes, I always try to comment -- assuming I have something of value that I can add, beyond what the member's response says. Commenting keeps a discussion active and gives you more opportunity to participate. The more you comment back, the more people can also comment to you. Yes, you earn for your comments. You earn for whatever you post. You don't earn for what anyone else posts. So, if you start a discussion and it gets 50 responses, that doesn't help your earnings unless you comment back with good quality conversation (don't just thank people, though - that won't help you and is actually against myLot's guidelines). Those 50 people each earn for their own response - you don't. So, you don't have to comment but, if you don't, your started discussions aren't going to be giving you as much value as they could.

I try to comment to everyone that responds to me but sometimes don't do so, especially if I have nothing to say. Our comments do help our earnings a bit I believe, and if nothing else they help get you a helpful follower or followers on your discussion. Everyone has different opinions on what makes you more, etc.

i am not sure about whether out comment is helpful to earn more or not but this is my way to thank respondent by give comment on it.So in all my discussion i never forget to comment. And even i expect comment from others too. Happy Mylotting!!

I only comment if I feel it is necessary, and I certainly don't just say something like 'I agree.' I think it's best to PM if you want to just thank people for responding. Basically, do what you feel is right, and you won't go far wrong. I think we do get paid for comments, as long as they are relevant to the response.

Yeah. I comment on each response to my discussion and I've never missed one of them. I do this not just for earning more bucks though commenting indeed helps me earn more, but more importantly, I regard commenting back as a way of showing respect to the person who responded. It means the response is appreciated and taken into account. It's also a way of promoting a warmer atmosphere here. If I responded to a discussion but received no comment, I'd feel uncomfortable and even a little bit hurt. Then I'll never respond to another discussion started by the same person. I suggest you taking time to comment on each response to your discussion before you start any new discussions or respond to other discussions. You'll be rewarded with decent bucks. I started a dicussion several days ago and received over 100 responses on each of which I commented. I got nearly $1 that day. lol. Happy mylotting and happy commenting!

I often response others' discussions, and I little start discussion, when I start a new one, I always get a few response, sometimes just one person response my discussion, so I give up that, and responses others' discussion, but I never forget comment on a response, because I really get a few, and easy for me to response, Haha. And I think our comments will make our earnings higher.

I always try my level best to comment on a response to my discussion. If I don't a lot to say, I will atleast say 'thanks for the response'. I think every person will like that. At the same time I expect a comment on the reponses I wrote on others discussions. I often go to the tab 'Responded' and see if anybody had commented on my responses. I feel extremely happy when somebody comment on my responses. But, it is very difficult to comment when you get lots of responses. One of my discussions got 106 responses. It was difficult for me to go through each response and comment on it.

Last time I did not comment to the response for the discussion I have started, but recently I have changed. I will commment to every response for the discussion. However, I have no idea whether comments on response will increase our earnings or not but I think it's a good way to build our reputation. If we don't comment to those response, I think MyLotters will not be interested to respond to our discussion dy.

Most of the time, i do comment on those people who responded on my discussions as a sign of thanking them for responded. I think our earnings increase if we do comment on responses of others.

the question you asked is also the one I want to ask.i like start discussions ,seldom response to others' discussion,and seldom comment to the response to me.because i donot know where can i find the discussions i started.and today i know,i will comment to every response and always response to other's discussion.are you sure if your discussion have 50 response,your earning is still like only 1 response?i doubt

I do make an attempt to comment every response. But not every response is worth of commenting back. But if the response showed much effort to respond to my discussion I will most definitely respond back to your comment. Which reminds me I need to get back to commenting to my responders. Almost every one is doing it. it's simply because you also get a point for simply commenting on the response or comments on others response.it's hard to comment on all of them because like you too i don't have time, and it's really hurting my hands typing at home after typing in the office.

If I could find more time to that and something good to say why not? But now I enjoy making responses from other discussion.

If I start a discussion I always try my best to comment on peoples responses. I think that if someone has taken the time to make a comment. . good bad or indifferent I should do the same. Now granted I am human and may miss some here or there...but it is unintentional if I do so. Sometimes though there isnt much to say back but wishing them a hello and a happy mylotting is always a nice thing to do! Happy Lotting to you!

For me, I do not comment on every response I get. I think it will take me a lot of time to do that, and I do not have so much time in fact. So I often select some which cause my interest to give a response, or sometimes I will give on response to a discussion I start, because only a few people give responses and I think it is unnecessary to do so.

Yes, I try to comment on a response where I have started a discussion. But sometimes I don't because some answers are just posted so I leave. But usually, I comment on each post. Also one should comment so that the other side can understand that his/her response been read.

it's very rare that i comment to the added response on my discussion. however, it feels good to read comments and criticize their opinions as well. and as long as i love what i'm doing, i'd not stop myLotting. =)
