How do you make signs on your facebook status?

Some people on facebook have for example peace signs and those music notes on their facebook statuses.
Do you know how to make them? thanks for sharing!

To create symbols on facebook status...
For a heart?
1. Turn NUM lock on
2. Hold in ALT and push 3 on your num lock key pad
3. Release Alt button and a heart should appear
For a Music note ?
1. Turn Num lock on
2. Hold in Alt and type in 13 on your left hand keypad. (push 1, release, push 3, release, release ALT) and for a double music note ? type in 14 the same way. For more symbols just experiment..ie. Alt+1, ALT+2, Alt+3,.....
