Has anyone tried the Loreal Pure shampoos?

I just purchased the Loreal Pure shampoo and conditioner because I heard that it is supposed to prolong your hair color because its parabin free and whatnot. I have to say, I am not too impressed with the scent as it is kinda manly. But I can get over that. What I want to know is if anyone has used it and has noticed a difference in the amount of time between having to get your hair colored? I don't want to keep buying expensive shampoo if it isn't doing anything different than the cheaper shampoos.
