Gosh, so sad to hear the news about Farah. Cancer seems to be so prevalent in today's world. I wonder if they will ever really be able to stop it. Most of us take our health for granted and feel we will wake up the next day. Life is so short and most people never know when it is their time to go. My family has been affected by cancer in several members. It is a disease that needs a lot of research and genius minds to help stop. With some cancers, they can affect a remission but in my experience it always seems to come back. I wish that some brilliant mind or minds could help with this problem. It is a very devastating and often painful disease that needs to be stopped.

Have you ever wondered why we hear about more people dying of cancer now than used to happen in the "old" days?
Well, beyond the fact that they discover it more now than they used to, people are living longer than they used to too.
When the average life span was 30-40, sure, you didn't hear about people getting cancer as often. Now people live to 60-80, you do.
