Hi all my football fan friends,
USA made a biggest up set in this year confederations cup by beating Spain 2-0. In the other semi final, Brazil beat stubborn South Africa by 1-0.
This maybe not your dream final but this is the real final. This coming Sunday, Brazil will face off with USA for the Confederations Cup. Who do you think will win this tournament. Any why you say so.

You're right.
I sure didn't have this final visualized in my nightmares, let alone my dreams!!
But that's why football is such a funny game, before matches, people play football on paper and predict the winner. After the match they tell us what went wrong!
Its so FUNNY!!!!
I could say Brazil will win the Confed Cup (I hope they do), but that's just 'saying'
I'm not playing for Brazil or something ( they'll lose if I do :) so I can't go around and write this tournament off.
I earlier made a mistake when I had posted a discussion on Spain vs Brazil being the final, see what happens when you write any team off! I wrote USA off and they won!
anything can happen!!

Hi siddfisher,
Your watch to much football commentary programs by so call "football guru" LoL. Do they even put their hand on this holy grail of football? I don't think so. Luckily I don't totally decide my team on your discussion :).
Football is a round. Sometimes you are at the top and sometimes you are at the ground. Any team can beat any given team on their day. Luck is always a major factor in football.
Hopefully there will be no more luck on US side in this final. Love to see Brazil lift the title.
Thank you for your comment and have a nice day.

Who will won the tournament? I am not so sure of it. May be Brazil will win the champiaon, as it is Brazil, the kingom of soccer world. But I was also astonished by USA behavior and performance during the Confederations Cup and I am so proud of it. Advancing from the group and beating Spain 2-0 astounded the world and made USA soccer more popular. That is a great thing. In word, the important things is not who will win the game. I sincerely hope the two sides would bring up a wondful championship.

Brazil are clearly the favorites to win the Confederations Cup. But, you can never say. After all Spain were the favorite in the Spain vs USA semi-final and everybody knows what happened. Even Brazil could score only a single goal against the host South Africans. It all depends on the day and anything can happen. I am still optimistic about Brazil lifting the trophy.

Hi rejeshfgh,
You have a point there. Since Egypt beat Italy and Spain lose to USA, look like nobody dare to bet on their prediction LoL. This year tournament totally full of upsets.
I do hope Brazil will keep the trophy. But they need determination and work hard beside their skills to do that.
Thank you for your comment and have a nice day.

Brazil will win for sure, USA is not capable is play one-on-one with Brazil players. I can foresee that USA will put a lot of players in defencing like what they do with Spain, but Brazil players like to use their personal technique to attack instead of passing the ball around like Spain....
Brazil will be much faster in counter-attack than Spain did

Hi mugglecacr,
Are you sure about that? I agree with you that Brazil player are better then USA player if we compare then one-on-one basis. BUT, there is always other thing to consider. Brazil even need luck to beat South Africa. Not to mention Egypt.
Enjoy to read comment from you. Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

Hi redic321,
In term of skill, Brazil maybe better then USA. But how about hardworking and determination? This is also the great factor to consider since this tournament not only bring one surprise but a lot of it.
To be honest, I support Brazil. But, they play a little bit rusty lately. Hope they will win this tournament and keep the trophy.
Thank you for you comment and have a nice day.

Who wins the coveted trophy on Sunday, Brazil or the United States, I can't place my bet on either team. This competition is consistent for one thing, suspense! Who expected Egypt to lose to Brazil by a slim 3 to 4 goals? How many people expected Egypt to defeat the reigning world champions, Italy? After the heroic performance of the Egyptians, how could one rationalize their three nill loss to the United States? that's what cost the Pharaohs a place in the semi final stage.
What made Spain to sweat before succeeding in beating the Iraqis by a lone goal? Why couldn't the Iraq team managed to score at least a single goal against the Kiwis (New Zealand), the supposed weakest team in the tournament and the "whipping boys"? How did Brazil put three goals past the Italians within a space of less than ten minutes? Why did Spain conceded two goals in the first semi final of the competition against the USA?
If the Bafana Bafana boys from South Africa worked hard to frustrate the Brazilians, the Americans are equally good in doing the same thing. One thing that the Americans have done better than the South African teams, at least in this competition, is to know how to score important goals. The game on Sunday will be open, any country that wins is the true champion. However, I'll fancy another upset and so will be happier to see the USA team emerging victorious. I don't see the samba boys taking anything for granted otherwise .....I won't say the rest.

Hi emmanola,
You are totally right with that. Nobody with a clear mind would dare to bet that Egypt will beat Italy or Spain will lose to USA. This tournament really full of surprise. That what people like us (natural supporter)love it.
I think Dunga is so relief that Brazil won the second semi final. One brilliant work with a brilliant free kick from Alves do Brazil a favor. After 85 minutes of suspense and trill , one free kick break the heart of Bafana Bafana supporter.
Thank you for your comment and have a nice day.
