The sensationally gifted "King of Pop" whom from his childhood popularity soared to a global entertainment phenomenon and gradually deteriorated through the years from freakish scandals died of cardiac arrest, thursday. During his peak, Micheal was regarded as the most successful and most influential entertainer in the 1980's and has bridged the gap between black and white music eversince. He has garnered so much accolades like having millions of copies of albums in four different years. Earning 13 Grammy awards and millions if not billions of dollars of cold cash. Besides from these achievements, he has shared his wealth to numerous foundations, and charities to help those in need not only stateside but also worldwide. However, times change and fame faded away for Micheal and all the wealth and glory quickly vanished by so many scandals that plagued his life, until what he have now is a rented home to stay till his death. With the legacy he left to the world, who will be the next to follow his footsteps to superstardom. There are so many bright stars in the entertainment industry today especially on the music scene. There are a dozen to choose from, but can you think of someone who can really have the chance to be at par if not atleast reach the pinnacle that Micheal Jackson has reached. Feel free to suggest. Happy mylotting. Good bye Micheal,....God bless

Yeah Im on to that, no one can really be at par with the king of pop. They may follow his footsteps to super stardom but to reach the peak of his worldwide influence won't be that easy. Many of us were children of his music and we grew with him. We were witnesses to how he influenced so many people and children around the world not just by his music but by his phenomenal talent in dancing. The dancing that made us scream and shout with surprise and excitement. So fascinating that its created a worldwide phenomenon to all who sees it. Thanks for responding.

Hmm, good question. I don't know, he did have a very successful career for many years. I loved Michael Jackson when I was kid. I kind of grew up with him. What a shocker!

He has been a part of my childhood days too and it is really fascinating how he has influenced so many people around the world. By his music all kinds of people come together and sing together regardless of race, culture and creed. He was really a great loss to all those who were part of the thriller age, wherein we were all captivated by his music and talent. If there are rising stars now in the music scene, well they can follow his footsteps to success by they can never matched the tenacity of his influence to all of us. Theirs can be shortlived but his would last forever. Thanks for responding and happy mylotting.

Definitely the King of Pop will still be the King. I agree with you jess, some may follow his footstep to the pinnacle of success but the pop culture that Micheal has started will never be matched. There are so many rising stars in the music scene but no one can really compare or not even be at par with the Kings achievements may it be in music, fashion and influence around the world. Just like most of us, yes we can be like Micheal, we can dress like Micheal, we can live like Micheal but we can never replace what Micheal has achieved. Like Elvis who garnered the honor of being the King of Rock, though he is long gone, still he is the King of Rock nevertheless. More promising stars will rise, but they won't be able to fill in the shoes of the King of Pop, but they can always follow his footsteps to stardom. Thanks for responding.
