often times when mother suspects that my younger brother cutting classes, mother would ask him and let him explain and said "look straight to my eyes".
what common cases you want the person to look you in the eye, and why?

Well basically if I want the truth, I would want the person to look me in the eyes and speak to me directly. In most cases, I've found that if they are telling me the truth, there will be a genuine expression on their face. However if they aren't telling me the truth, I've found that the person will either start laughing, or have a smirk on their face, or have a squint in their eyes or even just look away to try to avoid my eyes.

yeah! there's a special something in the eye that enables us to cast how true is the person in a conversation, even without words we could conclude and perceive what others trying to said. looking straight in the eyes for me shows honesty! yeah the facial expression reveals the true emotion and intention. happy mylotting to you!:):):)
