The king of pop is dead.
This I just learned while waking up this morning.
Hearing the news sent a lot of memories to me about him, his rise to stardom while with Jackson 5, his fame and infamy being the only pop star to be recognized around the world.
But controversies has shut him away from public, never to be seen except in glimpses of the paparrazzi.
Michael, despite his scandalous life, serves as an inspiration to many, whether old or young, gay or straight. He has united us with hopes of a better future through his music. And now, his music is more powerful than him.
I wonder, how would you remember him now? A boy trapped in a man's body? An eccentric who'd cuddle animals? A lover of children as seen by these lawyers, reporters, and gossipers?
Though he didn't go out with a bang, at least he left a lasting legacy in his music.

I will remember michael jackson as the king of pop and for his great contributions on the music industry...i will remember him for all of his hit songs and his trademark dance and walk...though, i will also remember him for all his controversies and molesting issues.

I was frankly shocked by the information of Jackson's passing. He has been such an iconic figure and in the eye of the press for so long. I wonder what they will do now. They seemed to want to broadcast every move he made usually at his expense.
I loved Jackson's music. I don't know about the rumors that always floated around about him so I'm not quite sure what to believe or feel about him. I do feel so sorry for the boy that he was, though. I think that he was a victim of the lifestyle forced on him in many ways and that greatly affected him as a person. I hope that he is at peace. I know that his music will forever live on.
