Or is everyone too caught up with stupid celebrity deaths to care about real people? I had a friend from a previous job who died from complications from heart surgery. He was only 27, and had a large family and a nephew who he loved and talked about all the time. It never hit the newspapers, though. Does his life and death count less because he wasn't famous?

You have my deep sympathy on the loss of your friend. What a shame
at 27. The celebs are no more important than anyone but they sell
ratings, magazines and newspapers when they die. What a load of crud.
Anyway. Celebrate who this person was and what he meant to you and
your sorrow and heartship will be a bit easier to manage.

Yup it's so disgusting what they will do to make another buck.
Anyway. I hope this was a short turn illness before this and
he was able to enjoy his short life.
Who knows what great things could have been achieved by those
who die so young.

Your friends life is just important as all the celebrities, it is a little annoying to me how as soon as a celebrity passes away all of a sudden eveyone says nice things about them even a complete change arouns from when they were living...I don't know why that is...but never forget your friend is just a big a loss and there will be people who will miss him too.... I care....

I care more about my family members, friends, colleagues, for without them I wouldn't be what I am today. I am grateful for their advice, encouragement and the courage to point out my mistakes, for the sake of my development to become a better person. Therefore I can emphatize the loss of your dear friend. It is often when someone goes to the extra mile to make the difference in another person's life that we will fondly remember him when he's not around with us. How fortunate for you to have a friend like this. Conversely for celebrity idols, the impact they've on our lives is limited. They could be role models at best, but they do not live with us or come to console us when we're feeling low. So each's mission is totally different.

They maybe celebrity but they're also real people. The just happen to be famous thats why its making a big news all over the world. Should it happen that your friend is famous too, he will be on the news as well. But that doesnt make them get caught up with stupid celebrity deahts.
We also feel bad about the people we love if we loose them, like the way the family of these celebrity felt bad right now for loosing someone they love. And it doenst make your friend countless, it just happened that he isnt famous compare to these celebrities that just passed away.
Sorry to hear about your friend. Im sure he is in God's hand now. May he rest in peace.
