Today seems to be a great day of reflection. I would love to know where you all were when... President Regan was shot.. Me: Coming home from scool. Mom had the TV on and stuck in a gaze The Space Shuttle Challenger Blew up... Me: Social Studies and the Principal was choked up when she announced the tragedy. We all went to the Library to watch LIVE TV and to pray for survivors Elvis died... Me: I was young. I don't remember anything but grown ups talking about this "King" President Kennedy Died... Me: Before my time. Prince Charles Married Lady Diana Spencer.... Me: awake at 2 am watching LIVE TV!! I watched ita ll day long and passed out about 4pm after they left on a train for their honeymoon... Man walked on the moon... Me: Before me Michael Jackson won 8 Grammys.. Me: Lying in a hospital bed fighting for my life... focused on only seeing Michael Jackson. I just wanted to see him dance.... I woke for a moment and saw him on the TV... my dear Auntie has a VCR back then and had recorded it for me. I watched it the next day... and the next day... and the next day... Princess Diana died... Me: Ready to go live on the air as a DJ and announce the news. I couldn't believe it. I cried when we gave the news to the Metro Area. It was unreal... I miss her. Many many more... Did I miss something most significant in your life?
