Modeling is becoming common in my home country, for those girls who are young around 18-22 years old, have an fair slim body, pretty face, then they can be a model; actually I think it is like a joke that everybody could be a model because of that... But they usually just appear on magazine due to the criteria that they cannot reach like the certain height.
I watch Tyra bank's show once in a while, I used to think aboutbing amodel because they can have sponsor, pretty clothes and what not...
Have you ever thought about that before?
Did you try?

Buddy i am not interested in that field but definitely encourage the people who are in it. Because i don't feel that my interest makes others disappoint. So i don't discourage the people who are in it after all its their career and they will succeed in it right. I am in a different profession and it might not be liked by them. Everyone has their own choices and there is no disappointment in their choices.
Coming to the modelling in your home country, it might be a boom over there. It is not compulsory that a girl with fair, slim and pretty face should be in modelling profession. It always depends on choice of her own interest. It should not be treated a joke. It is not a humorous task taken up by them. It is 24/7 job and they have to follow many things which involve balanced diet, exercises, protecting face and many buddy. I feel that its a harder job.
Anyways i am not interested in that job and never thought of getting in it in my life and won't think of it in my future too. Hope i didn't hurt anyone who are interested in this profession.
keep smiling and happy living :)

No,i never thought of to be a model even before.i have lack of height and also not have slim body, on the other hand, the model need to learn more and if he/she is a famous start, every body will be start at them, they not have enough freedom and lives will have such large effect.no much for family.for me, it is hardly to be a model.i don't like that.

I am still young and sometimes do think about this but frankly, when I give this deep thought...I come to the conclusion about what I really want to do in life is not modeling...Modeling will pay you till you are young, and once you are above age - then you are nothing. That is why, it is better to focus on a permanent job with a big company to ensure security of employment and income for life.

Some of the older models are still earning pretty good money; I tihjnk it depends on how famous you can get and can it be long lasting just like Tyra Banks.

well modeling is also a career in itself, so i've thought about it. but a long time ago i decided that i would rather work harder instead of using my body to earn money since you see many models starving themselves just to be the next spokesperson for the next big thing. but saying that, i'm not stereotyping them. it's just that the majority of the models seem to be like that. But wouldn't you feel more accomplished if you get the things you want by working harder for it? i know i would. ;)

Hello mermaidivy,
I am not interested to be in a limelight. I don't like being in the center of attention. I never dreamed of being a model when I was young and never hoped to be one. I like to see them and appreciate the luxury clothes and everything that come with the title but I never dreamed of being one.

I waited the time it will come to me. I know I can but
the problem is not all can be hirted as that specially
if you nare not came from well to do family and showbiz
personnels. They hired model as what really the background
of that model. It can also affects in getting the interest of all.

ive always told that i should model but in realtiy thats unrealistic. I mean im 5'6 and a size 7 ! im totally average theres no way in hell versace or D&G would take a single look at me. and to be honest i would not want to model becaue its shallow and im SMART!
