red sock, pink whites!!

how do you deal with whites that go pink in the wash? I`ve hot washed whites with a dyloned table mat and now some items are pink, and few are splotchy. I have nappiesanned, re hot washed and currently they are soaking in household bleach mixed with water.

before you do any laundry, always add a cup of white vinegar to the wash it doesn't smell and it will keep anything from running

Soak them in a little bleach with the automatic dishwasher powder, make sure you use very hot water, leave them all night. If they dont shrink, you can do that. It may take several soakings and washings but eventually it will come out.
