Hello to all the MyLotters out there. I was sitting on my computer listening to some music when a little memory came to my mind. I remembered something i had done when i was in college which was really embarassing and everytime i used to think about it i would get even more embarassed. Today, for the first time, when i recollected this memory, i actually laughed out and i couldn't stop laughing for quite some time.
Have you had any such experiences which were very embarassing but when u remember them they make you laugh?
If you do why don't you share it with all your MyLot friends.

Yes, I do have. :) I remember when I was in Junior High, I went to a talent time show. I was really hoping that my classmates would be around, but couldn't see any of them. Then, there was this girl who were passing by me. I was so excited, I thought she was one my friends and I actually pulled her hand and called out her name. She was so surprised and when she stared at me, OMG! I was so embarrassed! I have mistaken her for someone else. So, I pretended not to look at her and acted like nothing was happened hehehee...

LOL. That was a good one. Even i have been through quite a few of such experiences. The weirdest was when I was about eight. Me and my mom had gone shopping. I stopped outside this store and was looking at something I really liked. My mum didn't notice and walked ahead. After sometime I went to mom, pulled her hand and kept on begging her to buy me what I had seen[don't remember what it was though]. After 5 minutes of asking i realized the woman wasn't my mom, and she looked all surprised and freaked out. Then I got so scared thinking that I had lost my mom. LOL.

That was funny! It has also happened to my cousin before when she was little. She was tailing a stranger in an open market until she realized the woman was not her mom!

hello there...
actually, i have made many embarrassing moments in my life but those are just petty things...and i hardly remember some of them...what moment that never leaves my mind is the incidence happen in a stairways...i said stairways because it happens not only once but thrice...
well i think i am very lame and have a weak knee that i always have the tendency in getting out of balance and fall in the stairs!
the first time it happens is when i'm in highschool...i am getting late that's why i am on rush and when i am on the stair going up...i don't know what happen but my balance get off and i ended up kneeling and almost fall...i am so embarrassed then because there are also other students there...male students...just thankful that my crush was not there...
the second time happens when i am on college and the incidence is almost the same...but the one who saw me fall is my professor! geeee.....
the third time is the most embarrassing because it happens in stairways to underpass in the city...and what's embarrassing about this is that i am on my office business attire, because i just came from an interview...can u imagine that...i am on my skirt and high heels and acting so feminine and just ended up falling on stairs (3-4 steps!) ouch! thanks that my boyfriend is there for me...i just laugh when it happens to cover my embarrassment because there's so many people in that place...its actually the business capital of our country...and i saw those people smiling while staring at me! i don't know what they are thinking...but all i know is that i am very embarrassed that moment!

LOL. You remind me so much of my girlfriend. I don't know why but she keeps trippin and stuff. She always has a new "falling down" story to tell me. So whenever I am out with her, half my mind is always concentrated on catching her if she trips. Thanks to that, I've always been able to catch her when she trips, so she has never fallen down when she goes out with me. By now though it has become second nature to me. And frankly speaking, it feels kind of nice.

Well, don't look at it like that. Look at it positively.
See, in my case the fact that I've always caught my girlfriend and never let her fall, makes me feel good. It kind of brings us closer.
You should also consider it as something that brings you and your husband closer.

I was 15 years old. I had been in the Netherlands for 1 year.
My dutch was still rusty.
I met a guy in the bus. He was coming on to me. I liked him, but was
not ready for a relationship. My mother would kill me, at least that
is what I thought. He asked me out and I did not want to be childish
so I said sure. I will see you tomorrow.
The next day I put on a lot of make-up and a cap on my head.
No one could recognize me, not even my best friend. She just walked past me.
I had to call her back. She was shocked.
The guy was sitting in the back of the bus.
I knew I dare not speak, because he would hear my accent.
Then he asked my friend who I was, he wanted to get to know me.
Oh I was angry! He did not know it was me. He was just out to get any girl!
When I came home my mom laughed and laughed. Thinking about it, it was embarrassing.
But, I can laugh about it know. I am glad I did not go out with him .

Well yes, I am glad I found out while I was ahead, so to speak.
It was rather disappointing, made me more couscous of men too.
That is not always fair, cause not all guys are like that.
No one recognized me. My Mom thought there was a stranger walking in
the back yard. But, it was me.

Probably when I was swimming at my local community swimming pool when I was about 12 years old. Everyone in town went to this swimming pool in the summer time. I was there with some friends and there were also a bunch of other people we went to school with that day. I dove in to the water and got out of the pool not realizing that my bathing suit had been pulled off of one side of me from the force of the dive. One of my girls was just hanging out in the sun. My friend told me right away, but unfortunately one of the boys from school had already seen.

LOL, that must have been seriously embarrassing. But atleast you were only 12 then. It would be much much more embarassing if you were a little older.
Happy MyLotting.

Yes. Actually I had a lot of embarrassing and mortifying moments. But when I think about these experiences now, I just smile or laugh about how silly I was. One such incident was when I went to school. I wore white pants that day. Then during the afternoon during one class, my period came. When I got up from my seat after the class dismissal, my friend whispered to me I had a small red stain on my pants. I did not know if a lot of people saw. I was so mortified and my cheeks were very red. I just covered my back with my sling bag the whole time in school.

Ahahaha! I'm already laughing and I didn't even get to tell my story yet. (**seriously, teary eyed)
Ok, so If I am not mistaken I was a freshmen in high school. It was probably the last week of school. All I remember is I was mad sick that day. I was coming down with a fever && I had the most upset stomach ever. So of course i've been making runs to the restroom all day. But then the most embarrassing thing happened. K, well I was so sick I wasn't aware on how I walked out the bathroom. I actually came out the restroom with my skirt tucked in the back of my panty and a long trail of toilet paper hanging out of it as well. && trust me I walked down the whole hallway like that. Omg! I swear. All i heard was everyone looking at me && clapping. I was still out of it, so I still didn't know what was happening, so I just kept on walking. Then my best guy friend comes to me and quickly fixes me up...I was so embarassed, He walked me to class. Then next thing I know I get called to the office. They was going to suspend me cause they thought I was trying to win the class prank. Omg. Of course I told them I was trying to win the prank...But little did they know I was sick and wasn't aware of my situation...But how stupid of them to think I would try to win a class prank by embarassing myself. But anyways, at least I didn't get suspended and at least everybody wasn't talking about it the next day!

I joined a singing contest in our barrio fiesta during my elementary schooldays, upon hearing that somebody sang the same song I prepared to sing, I changed mine. What would you expect of an unrehearsed song performed by someone who don't possess a good voice. Good I finished the song, unminding if in some lines I was out of tune, hehe until now I laughed everytime I remember and wondering what made me join that singing contest that should it happen now, I don't know where to hide due to embarassment.
