Do You think or believe that any of the events taking place today with Iran be Connected in any kind of way to the Iran Contra Scandal or Reganomics in the Eighties Under the Regan administration?

I don't think the Iran Contra scandal has a direct effect on what is going on right now. But, I can tell you that it does have something to do with why Iraq didn't like us. The Iran/Iraq war was part of the reason why Saddam invaded Kuwait was to get money he felt the government owed him for defending them, one of the other reasons is that Kuwait was stealing oil from Iraq. If Saddam didn't do that then we wouldn't have put santions on his country, and we wouldn't have invaded Iraq of a decade later. This damaged all of the work the CIA was doing in Iran to build an opposition to the government. So I guess you could say that it did have something to do with what is going on today, but it wasn't direct. Reaganomics screwed the entire world (except maybe India, Japan, and China), it caused a recession that lasted five years, and hurt the world in general.
