Cheeseburger in a Can - Nothing says gourmet like a cheeseburger in a can and a glass of powdered wine!

I must to admit that I have been at a bit at a loss tonight when it came to deciding which wine I should serve to go with my dinner. I was not in much mood to cook this evening so I went to my handy dandy pantry to see what I could see and there it was, the last of the gourmet cheeseburgers in a can. "Dare I"? I ask myself. Dare I take the last remaining cheeseburger in a can in hopes that I will be able to stock up again before the gourmet cheeseburger in a can urge strikes again or should I leave it until the next time that I am in my formal attire in order to eat it? The urge was just too great so I did indeed decide to partake in it this evening! The directions are quite simple really. To prepare this gourmet delicacy you need only to immerse the can of cheeseburger in a hot water bath and let it "cook" for a few minutes, remove the pull top lid and Voila! Your gourmet cheeseburger is ready to be devoured! But here is where the problem came in, do I choose the Red Powdered Wine or the Mulled Powdered Wine that I needed to prepare with water to go with my cheeseburger in a can? Now I know that red wine goes with most meats and the mulled wine...well I was not quite sure of. So my question to all of you is... Which would you choose? Red Powdered Wine or Mulled Powdered Wine to go with your gourmet cheeseburger in a can?

Really not sure that a burger in a can (gourmet or otherwise) counts as RED meat as it probably doesn't have an awful (offal) lot of meat in there... So that means you can really choose your favourite tipple. Nonetheless I would go with Hannibal the cannibal and plump for a cheeky little Chianti. Chianti goes with anything, it goes especially well with another glass of Chianti

Hi Livewyre! I heard that! Both that a cheeseburger in a can may not count as RED meat And that a nice glass of Chianti goes especially well with another glass of Chianti!! To tell you the truth I hadn't even thought about Chianti as a choice, but then again, I couldn't find any dry, powder Chianti either!! Thanks a lot for your response!
