Please give a rating to how you feel about the US National Debt on a scale from 0 to 100. For example - 0 : Debt? We have a national debt? Oh, that's nice... anything good on TV tonight? 10: Yeh, I am kinda concerned, but what are you going to do, eh? 25: I am concerned but the benefits outweight the costs, so what will be will be... 50: Not quite in a cold sweat, yet. 75: I lose some sleep about it, but I've got to make it through the month with my own bills first. 100: Eyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Your turn, your thoughts...

I think that it is a mild concern for myself and my fiance but at the same time I also feel that it can be resolved with smart thinking from all of the United States. Buying Locally from Us stores and crafts suppliers, etc, FARMS, those types of things would help a great deal as to the US economy.

I would have to say 10, our country has had a national debt for years, and since 1969 our country has spent more than it has brought in. This isn't as big of a deal as we all think it is, most nations have Debt, and many nations buy other countries Debt. Would I like to see us lower our Debt? YES, but it will take time to do this, and if it hurts the recovery then to pay down the debt than it would actually cost us money.

The national debt is very scary. At this rate the US dollar will not be worth the paper it is printed on. If a point is reached that no one wishes to buy US securities then you will see a real financial crisis.

Based on your breakdown, I'd say 25. The debt is not a problem unless everyone panics and creates a depression. Eventually we will have to elect people who do a better job of running the country more like a business, but that will be unpopular for the foreseeable future so we are stuck with deficit budgets driving up the national debt.
