Imagine not having a father

I grew up without a father, has not spent time with him during my growing up years. Wishing for a father who does not even know the color of my eyes, my fave toys, fave food, a father who had not held my hand or hugged and kissed.
Found him recently after 30 long years...thru the internet and we just communicate but not yet seen each other. I can't even express how to be a daughter and the thought of .....what is it like to have a father?

Ey we have something in common i grew up without a father too but i have a step father who lives in a different house but once he marries my mother they will live together.

yes, my mom did marry and we experienced having a step dad...but it seems as if there was no bonding at all. We were not that close to him until they left for Colorado and started living there, and left us behind. My mom, passed away 8years ago, since then we haven't communicated with my stepdad...i have a sister with him. (who is close to my heart, and i am to her, at least!)
