Well my aunt has sold mary kay for a number of years. Being in the direct selling industry myself, i know that beauty products sell themselves. i am an avon helper. i love to provide women with products that they need on a regular basis. last time i checked with mary kay it was a 99 dollar investment for supplies. and as far as time, it depends on how many parties you would like to host. remember, beauty products sell over and over again. good luck in the future.

Depends on how many items you sell and how many parties you have, you can make anywhere from $300 a wk or $100 a wk. Depends if you know people or not. The starter kit is $100 but it comes with many products for you to start and also you pick the products you want, it comes with brochures and everything you need to start your business.

Hello,
Since the other 2 comments covered half of your questions,I will try to answer the rest. I was a Mary Kay Representive 2 years ago. I did spend the $99 for the initial package but then you have to purchase another package for your stock so you can make sales right away at your "party".
I'm not sure if they changed that now. For pricing and profit, basically you purchase the items for half price and resell them for full price. You can choose your own sale prices to your customers.
I would check the Mary Kay website for more details if you're looking for more info not answered here.

It depends on where do you live and which stock your country is using. If you are interested in Mary Kay cosmetics try to find your local consultant and contact her. If you are interested and live in Baltics, you can contact me :) I would be happy to give you any information you need to make up your mind. :)
