How did you find out Michael Jackson and/or Farrah Fawcett died?

I was just curious how fast the internet and news travels. How did you find out about Michael Jackson's death? I found out he had been rushed to the hospital via the ABC Breaking News email alerts I'm signed up for. It came through about the same moment I got one alerting of the death of forever beautiful Farrah Fawcett. I learned of Michael Jackson's death by reading a post sent through to a yahoo list I'm on for DOGS of all things. As if that wasn't enough, I had two phone calls within an hour asking the same question - "Did you hear that Michael Jackson died?!". To which I retorted "Yes, did you hear that Farrah Fawcett died as well?" I was saddened by their response. "Who's Farrah Fawcett?" :( Just curious, If I could find out on a DOG list, how did you find out?...
