I think you got the question a little backwards.
However, I think I'd rather be deaf. I like seeing.

Boy! This is another tough question... Can I choose to lose my sense of smell instead? Well... I think that I would be a deaf person who could see. I love reading, watching films, enjoying art and drawing so losing my vision would hurt that terribly. I have the utmost respect for those people who can't see. They are very, very courageous and intelligent!

I don't think I could live without reading and writing, so I suppose I'd choose deafness. Having said that, I hope I would have the inner strength to cope with and adapt my life to either of these disabilities - I just hope I never have to. Interesting topic.

Well, it is indeed hard to make a choice. If I`m allow to pick a sense, I would choose sense of seeing. Life is colorful only through eyss can be sensed. Hearing prevent ourselves from communication effectively, but we can see other people`s behaviour and understand what he or she wanna say more or less. Um, this is my choice.
