Do you believe that a happy attitude is beneficial to your health? Sadness and depression have been associated with many illnesses and disorders. Do you believe if you think positively and have a good attitude you will be healthier and be able to ward off colds and sickness?
Smile for a good heart . . a good attitude may be your best prescription for a healthier life

Yes I would have to 100% agree with you!! I have several medical problems, and when I am feeling depressed I have more pain, and tend to caught a little cold a lot easier then when I am happy.. Happiness is a major factor in health.. You also tend to smile more, and laugh.. Laughing is also a good prescription to have.. Laughing promotes more oxygen into your body, which helps all of the major organs.. I also find that your energy level is higher, easier to accomplish everyday tasks and possible get other tasks done that you have been putting of due to the lack of time and/or energy.

The one thing that really works is mind over matter... If you are determined to get through something it will happen regardless of what your body may say.. Most days I am in pain all day long, and if I was to allow my aches and pains sit there and control my day, I would have no life.. At least not one to brag about.

Hi sjvenden
isnt it amazing how pain goes away when we laugh .. I am not sure it the pain is actually gone. . .but for sure our mind is elsewhere therefore leaving no time to even think of the pain.. . Happiness and a good attitude is so important. . .and yes the energy level soars when we are happy ..
thanks for sharing
and Lotting to you!!!

Definitely. Lots of studies prove that a positive outlook is beneficial to your health. I used to work in a big call center for a cell phone company and I've seen first hand what stress does to people. I've also seen people waste away after losing a mate or feeling useless after retirement. I like to laugh and even though my sense of humor gets me into trouble sometimes I think think I'm better off for it.

Here i am coming uninvited again, hahaha... That's correct, happiness is scientifically proven related to one overall health situation, since it directly in fluent our brain to instruct our body to raise 'health hormone' and 'stress reducer' level. With the right medicine, environment, cares and diet, a happy patient is more likely to overcome her sickness or disease or disorder.
