I hope I don't need to give a definition of the two words...
What do you think? Is life fair or not to you? Some say it is fair because while you have bad times, there are those happy moments for you to feel how life could be enjoyable.
Some say it is unfair because some people have better job, better family, better opportunities than others.

Hello faisai!!!
Well what do we feel about our life is the reflection of what we think about our life. If we always go on saying that this life is unfair and unfair, then many times you become frustrated and start hating the life. But just opposite if you go on taking the life as the real gift, then you we feel life very much fair. That just depend on how we take it.
And in my case, this life is not very much fair and again not so unfair. Its in the middle of the both. This life cannot be totally fair that you can be happy in each and every moment of your life. And also you are not going to have the frustrations all throughout your life. But now I have started taking life as the very much fair thing. Because I believe every thing that comes up in my life is due to my own reason and I have no one else to blame for. So, fair and unfair doesn't make sense...
Nice discussion. happy mylotting...

Thanks for your reply.
I will not think life is fair means life is happy. In fact, if the meaning of life is fair is like that, I will say life is simply unfair. For me, life is fair in the sense that there are ups and downs not only for me but also for anybody else.

Life is life, fair or unfair. For me it's both, I heard so many unfair reason about life because of the bad situation they've been through. And some people view their life as fair. We have different insights about life. I'm a positive thinker so I view my life as fair for this is what God give to me. I know He has a plan for me. Happy mylotting!

I am not a believer of God and sometimes I will ask is the God fair in deciding how is everyone suppose to live their life? I mean does it really feel fair that some people just die because of disaster while the others can still lives their lives so happily? How can I tell a person who cannot move any of his limbs and can't even talk that life is fair and whatever he is seeing is the God's view which is fair for him? Or is it really the God really has another plan for those unfortunate?

Life is only fair if you're making it fair for yourself to enjoy it.
Life feels unfair when things aren't going your way in the ways you
thought it should be. Life is unexpected with a lot of things people
have to go through day by day. Good or the bad. People say life's
quite unfair to them while there are others in the world who are having
it more worser than they have and are struggling to get by day by day
That's unfair. To me, life goes both ways. Because without the unfairness
you would not know the difference between what's fair and unfair if the
both existed. If it was fair all the time then we would not know what
is unfair. Maybe the unfair could have been the fair or vice versa.
The two contradict each other like darkness and light or the good and
the bad. Life has a funny way with helping you out through strange things
no matter how messed up the situation is, you'll just have to be strong
and get through it. And in the end the outcome can be good or bad. There's
some positive things that are usually the outcomes from a bad situation for
those who think life's unfair. The more they focus on the unfair part,
the more they lose focus on what's fair and it would kind of eat them up
inside. That is why enjoy life while you're still on the earth because
you'll never know what's in store for your fate.

Of course if there is no unfairness, nobody will know that things are fair. However, is it because we want to know that fair is in play that we accept or even hope that unfair things will happen? For me, I hope that I don't want unfair things happening as I don't really want to "know" that there is fairness. I just want it.

I never view life as unfair as there's no such thing as unfair life. Whenever I am in trouble, I always thing I have done something wrong and God want to punish me. Even if I am not, the hardship is an obstacle that I must overcome. There's silver lining behind it. People with better job and life is lucky and maybe, they really have right to earn it.

We face difficulties just like everybody else so from this angle, life is really fair. But then, there are people with more difficulties than others and I will then doubt is it really fair that others are having hard lives from time to time but not for others?
