Black hair? Blond or red? What color you like more and why?

I saw so many persons who like to change theirs hair color, and i wonder why? In my opinion we must to be as we are in real, of course we can use a special shampoo to improve our natural color of hair, but must to keep our natural color. Because is very simple to explain, a blond person will be not so beatiful id colored hair in black, skin all the time is in order with hair, and a very white skin will never look very nice with a black hair, or somebody with brown skin will be not natural with blond hair. Of course that contrasts are intersting, i mean black hair with blue eyes, or blond hair with black eyes, but all time our natural skin will be not nice with other hair color. What opinion do you have about this? If you want your change your hair color, what color you will choice? I will say that i never change my hair color all my life, even i use a shampoo to improve my natural color, make hair to shine.

It doesn't really matter, as long as its the normal shade you have. I don't prefer colored hairs.

There are some people who just seem to have the features and skin coloring that works well with many different hair colors and styles. As we age, our coloring is not as intense as it is when we are younger...our skin coloring and even eye coloring get less intense. My hair is naturally very dark-it's mostly silver/gray now., I'm not ready to be silver or gray haired, but when I color my hair, I've gone to a lighter shade in order to balance out tone. Otherwise, my skin looks very pale, washed out and sickly. I think you just have to experiment with different colors. It is usually best to choose a shade within your natural color range though. Example: brunette, blonde, redhead - because not every brunette can be a blonde, not every blonde can carry the darker hair color well, and so on, unless you have the skin coloring for it. Of course, there are so many self tanning products on the market, that even that can now be remedied. So, what it boils down to is that one has to take the whole picture into account. You have to make sure to address the total look...hair color and style, skin tone, make-up. When I think about all the possibilities...it makes me glad I'm a woman!!

I have always loved red hair, but of course, I don't have it. I wanted to get a highlight of red and the girl told me that since I have such short hair that I should just get it dyed red. The first time I did get the highlight. After that I have it dyed a few times red, but now it is growing out, and I am not sure if I will do it again, since it is not inexpensive and I do not have the money to do it. I do like the red hair on myself and got many compliments on it. Right now I have many different colors playing in my hair with the red, my natural light brown, a little bit of blond looking and the gray that is coming in. I have NO problem with the gray, I just like the red!!

my hair is black and i don;t want to change to other colour.so i don;t do dye or change to other colours. generally many of our indians hair is black and we ladies maintain long black hair with making different hair styles with that black hair. so i also like black hair and in future also i don;t want to do dye to my hair.

i like to my natural color,it looks more healthy. i often see some people change their hair color, they looks strnage.maybe i have never understand the fashion of hair,in my opion the hair must be fit to his position, figure.when we change the hair color, what other people feel whether it is so good or so bad,the first expression is very important for us.so there are not all of people fit to change his hair color,at the same time, chaging hair color,it hurt hair deeply,so we select natural hair,it looks very well

i never change my hair colour too in my life so i was born with black hair and i am still black too!! I think normally as hair colour i like a bit more blonde hair especially in women but this is not a rule so it depends also in general from people to people!! I think people should not change their natural colour because normally thsi is the most reliable for the person in her/him self!!even if many people especially girls like to change their hair colour also because they want proof something of different..and so the resuls must be various..

My natural haircolor is light brown with red highlights. Now that I'm over 50 there is some gray here and there, too. Over the years I have experimented with many colors. I've used golden blonde shades to go red, I've used ash blond shades to go blond, I've gone darker but not jet black and, right now, my hair is auburn.

I'd still prefer black and shiny hair. Nice to look at and goes with any suit and dress.

Some for fashion. Me? I did crazy colors in my hair, I have a time line of what I did. XD But my hair's currently dyed black and white so I can look like Rogue from the movie X-men and the girl from forbidden kingdom. I had to put in this blue/purple toner to get rid of the brassy colors and get the white out. But keeping your hair natural is the best since you won't have to damage the protiens in it. I have to put some reconstructor in my hair since it's naturally black and it's asian hair. My skin's not brown, not tanned but beige. O_O I was naturally a person with black hair with reddish brown eyes. I can go either way for eyecolors and hair colors. I really hate brassy blond that's close to reddish hair because it doesn't look right on me. But Black, dark blue, purple, black with red tips, platinum blonde, white blonde, white, hot pink, RAINBOW, black/blue all looks great on me. XD LOL those are the colors I went though. I'm keeping my black and white the way it currently is because it took a few days to get it at this point in color. XD

I'm a teen still, so I use crazy insane colors by manic panic the semi-permanent stuff. But I have to get it all previously bleached before I can go insane with the little containers I buy. XD

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you on this one. My natural hair color now is silvery gray. Age and medication have leached the color out of my hair. I absolutely hate the way it looks, so I color it and use a couple of shades lighter than the darker color is was naturally. It softens my features and lights up my face and eyes a bit....and that's much better.

I would like red hair, personally. I have tried to dye it once and used some highlights and shampoos that are supposed to bring out the best in your hair. I would like red hair because I like so many actresses who have had that color of hair. It's odd because a lot of red heads don't like being red heads but I'd love to be one!

I think Black color attracts more and especially on women. and the thing about changing the hair color I think that it damages your hairs and could cause dandruff also. People might change the color when they're getting old but I think that was natural let them changing themselves and as time passes by it looks good on you.

I have black hair, I like having black hair, I don't intend to have my hair colored to be blond or red. But I am interested in having my hair treated with cellophane or with highlights. I like the way the hair shines with a different color like purple or blue when the light hits it. I don't want to have drastic changes done to my hair like strong bleaching because I am afraid that it will damage my hair and give me a hard time maintaining it.

Hi there marianna45! Asians have black hair and that's what I have. However, I have had my grey hair at a very young age. We were told that it was hereditary. Even my other cousins had their grey hair at an early age. Because of this, we sometimes have to have our hair dyed. At times, I like it black. But there are also times that I would like some shade of brown. Dark brown that is. I don't think I will be able to pull it off blond.

My hair is naturally black, I'm Native American, so my skin is brown. I've dyed my hair a few times, but I've never been bold enough to dye it blonde, I think that would look too funny on me..lol. I've also had it dark brown before which didn't look bad, and now its the lightest I've ever had it, because I just had highlights put in it and its a lighter brown color, it doesn't look bad either, I've had alot of good comments on it, but when I get tired of the highlights I'll dye it back to black, I like it that way too. Black hair and blue eyes would be interesting to see, when my husband was younger his hair was black, I seen a picture of him, and he has blue eyes, now of course his hair is peppered with gray but its still dark, I think he looks handsome..

My mom is half American Indian and my dad is Irish and I guess that is where I get the red hair from. My mom as she got older her hair got grey and then it went black again. My hair goes from red to some grey to streaks of blond from the sun to red again it depends on the time of year. But it never really gets grey for too long! If it does I use a henna and that clears up the problem and it looks like a copper penny red. Guys love it. Lol

I have dyed my hair many colors and I like them all. I have a skin type that can go with any color of hair and my eyes as well. I would have to say that a natural color is my favorite with blonde highlights throughout. People change there hair color cause its something they can control. Every one likes a little excitement in there life every once in a while and hair die is a form of excitement.

I don't think about hair color. My hair is naturally brown (mostly) and that is that. I think younger people like to experiment more than older people and some people are slaves to vanity.

I am a natural red head and I like it. I have done research and I found out that there is only 2% of the world left that have real red hair and soon I guess it will be breed out of people all together. Maybe that is why so many people dye their hair my color!

I've also heard that too, there aren't very many red headed people anymore, and pretty soon there won't be any. I think thats sad, I think red hair is pretty, and it takes a certain kind of person to be able to wear it. My grandma had red hair, it was fire engine red, as she got older tho it got darker, and out of all of us grandkids, theres only one of us that has red hair like that, its weird.
