Let's face it Americans spend millions every year on fast food. It is fast convenient, it saves time. But what costs are we really paying for the convenience? Myself included? I had a Burger King #10 Fish Sandwich, French Fries and a coke for lunch one day last week and afterwards I felt like I was carrying bricks in my stomach. I had the same experience about a month ago at McDonalds after eating the 10 piece chicken McNugget meal. Is it really worth the convenience to feel like crap afterwards? The answer for me is NO MORE! What are some of your experiences with Fast Food places? What alternative places do you recommend? My personal recommendation is Chipotle! They are convenient, fast and healthy!

I don't really get that heavy feeling after eating fast food. I don't usually drink soda with my fast food, so maybe that's part of it, I don't have the carbonation filling my stomach. My favorite "fast food" place (which I never get because we don't have one here) is Fazoli's. It's Italian fast food. Pastas, paninis and salads. The best thing on the menu is the peppered chicken fettucini Alfredo.

i know what you mean but i love food, so i would accept that crap feeling after, its ok if you dont have it all the time. I think as well though you eat that kind of food faster than you would food you cook at home so that doesn't help

Well with us we do fast food once a month with our little ones and we do pizza once a month too. Other then that it is cooking dinner. I do understand what you are saying though, with me after I eat at McDonals or any fast food like that I sometimes feels like I had nothing but junk food all day. One of our favorite places to eat at is pizza hut and the chinesse buffet because at Pizza hut you can choose what goes on your pizza and also they have salads. At the chinesse they use olive oil which is the best oil and they use garlic which is big when you are fighting to keep infections away and also there you can sometimes find Mongalon cooks and you choose how you want your noodles made. The one we go too, we always do turkey meat and noodles with garlic. I sometimes like to do a plate of noodles with baby corn, carrots, shrimp, onions, mushrooms, pineapple, and garlic. There are many different benefits from eating chinesse. Well I hope that thesse gives ya some different ideas. Happy Mylotting

No one told Americans to eat fast food everyday. I only eat fast food as a treat like three times a month. I don't know of any healthy fast food restaurants. Usually their healthy menu have just as many calories as the regular menu. Try a local restaurant. They usually serve traditional food often called homemade food.
