I am big fan of WWE and watch it most of the time. I always think whether wrestling in WWE is real or just an act to entertain people. I have heard that its just an act and uses some technique. Sometimes when i see Jeff jumps from high places, injuries, blood makes me think it is real. But sometimes looking like horns woggle win, perfect timing and some funny scene makes me think its just an act.

well they do work hard...but they need to work with acting too. Everyone can tell its a lie.its stupid because the whole idea is stupid...its people believing as if its real. There is better things to watch in Tv and there's better sports. if you really want to watch real fight and not just act then u should watch boxing. and not this crap. so brother no offense if you like but its only a different view...

Hey bro! this may be the fake one but not stupid at all. Wrestlers do very hard work to make it real and amazing and they try to entertain audience. Any way happy mylotting!!!

I could see boxing instead of wrestling too but i don't think watching boxing is interesting and entertaining as watching wresting. Boxing is just about punching but wrestling is about punching, kicking and smashing too. Therefore I prefer to watch wrestling than watching boxing...

yes.. Even wrestling comes under scripted storyline, there are lot of risk too in performing. Wrestling haters simply say that wrestling is fake. they never agree the risks, which wrestlers have during the stunt. nobody can forget the match happened at backlash 2004 Randy orton vs Mic foley. also the hell in a match of Undertaker Vs Brock, Undertaker Vs foley, where foley accidentally fell from top of the cell. The fights may be fake. But Injuries are always real. Rarely, in some cases, when wrestlers need a long term leave, they use the storyline like wrestlers getting injuries. those injuries may be fake.

Yep this may be the preplanned but after looking at the hardwork and risk there worked must be considered. They try to do minimal damage but who has got will to face such risk? Who has got the will to face hammer, steel chairs, ladders , cage, dangerous movers? Right? I solute them for doing such a hard work. Thanks for response raghul77ster!! Have a nice time mylotting!!

well shnsun, I dont know about you but i dont think they are not real. They are trained to fight like this yes but then boxers are trained to fight the way they do and the steel in steel cage matches is real, chair they hit opponent with is real and everything else is real though they do make a lot of noise but they are real. Also it is done in front of thousands of fans in stadium and i dont think they would buy the audience too and sooner than later the big ego of wrestler would come in play and he wont loose to just anyone because boss said so and now it is over 60 years old and if there was any hanky panky they atleast one wrestler would have said hey we fought unreal and i was told to do so. Over 1000s of wrestlers have participated in various WWE matches till date.. none blew the whistle..unbelievable.

Hey shnsun...WWE is the thing of the past for me....i used to watch WWE many years ago...nowadays i don't watch it...about WWE it is purely entertainment..it is all business...wrestlers are paid for wrestling in the way they are told to,so that it becomes like a drama and people keep watching them interestingly....the all things that happen in WWE is preplanned...and about those moves, they train very hard and do it using certain techniques that it looks real but are infact fake...and the referees also play a vital role in this drama...but i have to they show it in very good way and makes you feel that it is real...but reality is that it is business and is designed purely for entertainment...so next time you see WWE look closely...who knows you might spot something strange.....

Many people say this and i agree too. But sometimes the stunt in it looks so much intresting and real.Like jumping from great height. They may be doing this for business but i think they really risk there lives in it. I don't think every thing is fake too though i believe its unreal. Their act is so amazing that i am a bit forced to believe it. Thanks for response and happy mylotting...

WWE is definitely a show for entertainment purposes. The injuries, just like in any other sport, happen accidentally. As the superstars always say,'Don't try this at home or at school'.Cheers:)

Hi shnsun,I have been a die hard fan of wrestling specially World Wrestling Entertainment for a long long time and yes you heard it right,it is indeed a fake thing. But,indeed it is a good entertainer and do not forget these wrestlers have to go under hard training to perform day and night in front of a large audience.

I guess the majority of WWE's acts are fake.. but the bruises they get are for real..lol! i don't know.. it seems that the wrestlers have practiced the stunts before the event.. I used to watch WWE before but i got fed up so I decided to stop and watch something else.. Now, i am into watching TV series like Prison break, leverage, fringe and heroes..=)

I think that the majority of it is staged, but I am sure that some of the injuries are real. For example, Owen Heart really did die while performing a stunt. In my opinion, WWE wrestling has gone from fairly believable wrestling to nothing more than a violent soap opera. I used to watch it all the time, but once it became so dramatized, I stopped. Whatever happened to the good old days??

There are parts of wrestling that are faked. If you see injuries and blood chances are some one really got hurt. Even though its mainly just acting and well practiced punches that never make contact there are times when its very real and someone has gotten very injured. I can think of several wrestlers that people thought it was fake until the ambulance showed up to take them to the hospital. Mick Foley is one. He was real big with the Rock for a while. It was the Rock and Sock connection. Any way Foley did a cage match and by the end of it he was a bloody mess. That was a time when the injuries that he sustained were the real deal.

My friend, wrestling IS FAKE. That's why I like watching it. Think of WWE as your grand, live action movie. We watch movies, right? We know it's all pretend, right (or maybe you believed in the latest Star Trek movie? Worse, you believed everything Dan Brown wrote), then the greatness of WWE is of its storyline. If Erick Bishoff (did I spelled his name correctly?) hadn't thought of using that storyline angle on WCW, then we wouldn't be enjoying it the way it is today. So what if the matches are fake? Many of the stunts are real. Just look at what happened to Owen Hart (if the old guys here still remember before any senior moment attacks again *LOL).
