Have you ever had an out of body or near death experience?

I have read many times of people who have died, say on an operating table, and been resuscitated after a number of minutes. But they were considered technically dead before that. They tell of similar experiences of seeing a light, being drawn to it, and having peace and joy. Or they tell of being "outside" their body watching doctors and nurses work on them and hearing the conversations, etc.
Have you ever had such an experience? What was it like?

The same here, Ann. I've read stories about it, but it has never happened to me personally. I appreciate your response :)

Nope and I hope I never do! I hope to live to a ripe old age and go peacefully in my sleep with no close calls between now and then!

LOL Canellita...I do understand your feelings. My father passed away at 81 in his right mind, in his own bed at home, and in his sleep. That is how easily I hope to pass!!

With people living into their 100s all the time these days I think I may get my wish!
