I study at the Technological Institute of the Philippines-Manila. And I always eat lunch and merienda there. Although the price of foods there is quite expensive, it's okay for me. Because the money that I paid is all worth it. The foods there is very delicious. No doubt about it. They have, I think, two chefs there.

hello allenbucks,
When I was a student, I seldom eat at the school cafeteria. I prefer to eat in the boarding house so I can spare some money for my other expenses in school. I studied in Saint Louis University here in Baguio. Now, I have my son who is now in college, he does prefer eating at home too if he has time to do so. Just like me he is saving money so he can buy things that he needs from his allowance. They're not asking money from us anymore if they're buying their stuff. Not that I don't like to give them, so they will know the value of money at their early age.

I don't usually eat buy lunches at the caferteria at my school because a lot of it is very expensive even compared to the items in the shops. So I just bring my own food to eat at school, sometimes they have good delicious foods on special but otherwise the general perception of the caferteria is a negative one.

Back when I was in school(middle school) I hated the cafitiras lunch I wouldn't eat it unless I wanted to get sick and go home eairly.
Which is why mom packed my lunch most of the time
