I so cannot do that.
I'm not that fast of a runner, so I have to put in extra just to keep up with other people. Trying to talk on top of that would be madness.

If I'm going really slowly (more jogging than running) I can talk, but if I'm going at faster than a really slow pace it's too hard to talk and run at the same time, and I don't do a good job at either: my talking is broken up because I'm having trouble catching my breath, and my running suffers because my body's not getting enough oxygen.
When someone tries to talk to me while I'm running I try to give short answers and hope they'll get the hint that I really don't want to talk!

Yes I can but not for long time. I will be lacking of breath
or air if I have it too long. Its is really hard to talk and speak
while running. You need more air for it. Running also exert efforts
of breathing so with the talking and jog with it.

Hi, I have bad knees, so I am unable to run (unless there is a housefire). I can walk very fast though, and talk like an auctioneer to make up for it though. Thanks.

oh my god, no! I run (or do some kind of cardio) at least 3 times a week, and every time, my lungs feel like they are going to spontaneously combust! I have never smoked in my life, but you'd never be able to judge that from my lung capacity! It sucks because my legs can go for miles, but the air just doesn't get through my body!!! I hate it!!!
