After two years, I'm finally verified on Moola!

Back in 2007 when I joined Moola it was a fairly hot site that many people were very excited about. What could be more fun than making money while playing games? I was pretty excited myself to join the site myself, but I soon ran into a problem. Moola requires you to verify your account with your cell phone by receiving a text message. I had a cell phone, but no matter how many times I tried I never received the text! I never entirely gave up on the site, but I only logged in every six months or so to try to verify my account. For one reason or another, I never could get the text...not even after I changed my cell phone. For some reason, the process finally worked the last time I tried it. It's not like I did anything different, but if anyone else has had difficulty verifying their Moola account they might want to try to do it again.
Unfortunately, it looks like Moola's golden age is long past. It evidently can take six months or longer to get paid, and now they've instituted a system where everyone must pay fees unless they withdraw via a special debit card (the long payouts and debit card bring back bad memories of bux.to for me!). All in all, it sounds like the site is struggling to make money, and some Moola veterans are none too confident the site will be around for too much longer. I'm still glad I finally got verified, though; I've had a long wait. What do the Moola players on myLot think about all the new changes on the site? Do you think the site will last or is it on its last legs?

I was the same! I joined in 2007 and was unable to verify my account because i did not have a cellphone to text to. This is one of the reasons why i was no longer interested in visiting the site everyday.
I recently visited, and now that i have a phone, and was able to verify my account. So far i have earned $2.96 and i hope to get up to at least $10. I'm going to see where i'm at by the end of July and then if it's over $10 i'll cash out. That disappointing that moola isn't doing so well and that they aren't paying out very quickly. I hope it stays around long enough so that i can cash out my account. Congrats on your cash out! If they end up closing the website soon it's good that at least you were able to make something of of them. Thanks for the inside scoop on moola!

I hope they last too, and I guess the reason they're making the changes with the debit card and fees and stuff is to try to make sure they'll be able to survive. Still, it's usually not a good sign when this sort of thing starts happening. Do you think you'll sign up for the debit card in order to cash out without fees? Personally, I don't think I will...I already have a debit card and credit cards so it gets kind of tough keeping track of them all. A Moola card is something I'd probably only use once a year so it doesn't seem worth it!
